SEMICON Europa 2024: focus on innovations and collaborative strategies for sustainable growth of the semiconductor industry
Inspired by the theme “Innovation and Collaboration: Powering Sustainable Exponential Growth”, the new edition of SEMICON Europa 2024 will bring together leading industry experts from 12 to 15 November at Messe München, Germany. This will be an opportunity to delve into the latest innovations and trends in sustainability, mobility, health, materials, packaging, semiconductor manufacturing unit (fob) management and personnel. Semicon Europa, Europe's largest microelectronics supply chain event and conference, will be held alongside the electronica fair and will feature speeches by experts from the electronics design and manufacturing ecosystem, academics and representatives of institutions.

“SEMICON Europa is the place to discuss innovations and collaborative strategies that drive the growth of the semiconductor industry in Europe and worldwide [...] This industry is working hard to ensure the right balance between technological progress and environmental protection. We look forward to hearing from thought leaders who will give us insights on how to achieve sustainable growth and overcome human shortages."
Laith Altimime, President of SEMI Europe
One of the most important moments of SEMICON Europa will be the CxO Summit, bringing together leading experts to discuss strategies and ways for the European microelectronics ecosystem to collaborate and maintain strategic leadership. The summit will serve as a framework for promoting in-depth partnerships on urgent and emerging challenges. Leaders from AMS Osram, Bosch, Comet Group, Inficon, Porsche, Schneider Electric, Siemens, STMicroelectronics and others will share their views on crucial issues that form the basis for exponential and sustainable growth in the European semiconductor industry.
SEMICON Europa 2024 will also see the start of the III-V Compound Summit, which will illustrate the critical importance and emerging impact of III-V compound semiconductors in driving the future of electronics.
“Advances in III-V compound semiconductors are critical to the next generation of high-performance, energy-efficient devices, helping industry overcome manufacturing complexities, increase efficiency and reduce costs [...] The III-V Compound Summit is an essential forum to understand how these technologies will transform the electronic landscape, ushering in a new era of technological progress.”
Ajit Manocha, President and CEO of SEMI
