Tech Hour - Institut Néel presentation

The subject of this session is:
NANOTIP: An innovative solution for a better understanding of thermal phenomena at the nanometric scale.

  • Olivier BOURGEOIS, Néel Institute

Abstract :

Nanotip is an ultra-precise nanoscale thermal measurement technology using an atomic force microscope and innovative resistive thermometry. It enables the heat in nanomaterials to be analysed in minute detail, which is useful in both research and industry, particularly for detecting invisible hot spots in microelectronic devices.

The Institut Néel in Grenoble is a leading research centre in physics and nanoscience. It specialises in the reliability of electronic materials and develops solutions to enhance the performance of critical components (aeronautics, transport, embedded systems), in partnership with industry.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
