DIHNAMO will therefore be open to companies and local authorities in Normandy wishing to develop "innovations in the field of connected, safe, sustainable mobility, more specifically non-rail land mobility of goods and people, including air with drones, and intermodality".
The competitiveness clusters Pôle TES (digital) and NextMove (automotive and mobility), have been working together for 5 years on a project to create a Digital Innovation Hub in Normandy, with the support of the Region. This project has now been approved by the European Commission.
The Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH), whose development is encouraged by the European Commission, aim to resolve the major disparities in terms of digitalization for European companies, depending on country, sector and size.
They offer personalized support, including technical expertise and financing, and ensure that companies are trained and acculturated to new technologies, through initial or continuing training.
They can also carry out audits and digital development strategies for companies of all sizes, whether or not they are already involved in innovation. Finally, they can provide thematic support for innovation projects.
